Script vs Interview.
There are two main ways of delivering longer content in a video and that is either reading from a script and using a teleprompter or an interview style video. These two ways serve very different purposes. Reading from a script is suited for educational content, marketing videos where every word is crucial for the intent of the video, or if you’re uncomfortable being on camera however it can become quite obvious when using a teleprompter to read your script.
Now on the other hand using an interview style video is more suited to a brand story video or case study where you want the tone to sound more conversational and less thought out. The two styles of using a script versus an interview are very different yet effective depending on the purpose of the video. Neither one is better than the other, they are simply used in different situations.
