OUR STUDIO SUGGESTIONS

Before booking a studio space for a shoot, please get in touch with us to confirm whether or not the space is suitable for the project!!

Things to note:

  • AUDIO: When it comes to recording audio, co-working spaces or shared photography studios can make things difficult.

  • LIGHTING: The more we can control the light, the better everything will look. If there is lots of natural light coming through roof panels this is going to be very inconsistent and result in the worst type of lighting. The best spaces are those that have natural light coming in from windows only.

Below we have listed some of our favourite studios spaces and provided some information on each.

Studio Noon

*Cost: Starting from.. half day @ $400+gst / full day @ $600+gst
Location: Mordialloc
Lighting conditions: 100% controllable studio with great natural light options
Audio conditions: It’s close to Moorabbin Airport so there are disruptions on days with good weather
Shooting Options: 3x3m Cyclorama, feature arch, coloured backdrops, white walls with polished concrete floors
Props & Accessories: Portable feature walls, chairs/stools and lifestyle decor
Accessibility: Ground floor with roller door access
Parking: Plenty of parking with no time limitations

XO STUDIOS

*Cost: Starting from.. half day @ $520 / full day @ $920+gst
Location: Brunswick East
Lighting conditions: Controllable for the most part, there are block out blinds in the cyclorama area. All natural light comes into the building from the walls & not the roof.
Audio conditions: Large space & can hear road noise from time to time, but relatively good space for audio
Shooting Options: Studio 1 has a 7x8m Cyclorama, white brick wall, lounge room/couch setting & studio 2 has a kitchen available
Props & Accessories: Chairs & stools
Accessibility: Ground floor with roller door access with drive in access
Parking: Limited parking out front with time limitations

Location: Cheltenham
Lighting conditions: 100% controllable lighting, minimal natural light
Audio conditions: 100% controllable, no road noise
Shooting Options: Large cyclorama area, black roller door
Props & Accessories: None
Accessibility: Ground floor with roller door access with drive in access
Parking: Availability for 3-4 cars directly in front of roller door
Things to note: Studio has a weird roof that is visible in some shots
