It is quite shocking to realise that such few words are required to make a 2-3 minute video. Often we find that people over estimate how many words are needed to create a video so we have put together this handy guideline as a reference for you when drafting your script or interview question responses!

Please note this is an estimation and ultimately varies depending on how fast or slow you speak.

30 seconds - 75 words

1 minute - 150 words

2 minutes - 300 words

3 minutes - 450 words

4 minutes - 600 words

5 minutes - 750 words

7 minutes - 1050 words

10 minutes - 1500 words

15 minutes - 2250 words

20 minutes - 3000 words

30 minutes - 4500 words
